How can I describe what this is? Should I try to? Roots of the earth....branches reaching skyward,...an offering to the depths of all that is above, a celebration of all that is within. Seeds that contain the possibility of everything the heart can imagine....

This is the main image for my new site.

nice - love the odd proportions of the image (tall and thin rather than the usual square)

A vibrant shadow, perhaps? The distant, dreamy look of the dryad befits one linked to the slow, steady, strong life of the tree, patient for it knows that the germination and growth of its seeds takes time. They lift us and our hearts heavenward, pointing us to hope. Evil will not have the last word.
Thanks,
Steve

i don't know if i have been channeling you or what. there is this tree in town here that i have been looking to take a photo of for weeks as soon as I get near it when the lighting is right. it looks *just* like that (except that it looks like the head has been cut off)
this is amazing.

Hehe,....wow. That's really interesting... Apparently I've been channeling a number of people as of late. Saying stuff like "my thought flew like two birds furiously beating their wings"....and as I say that two birds take off over that persons' head 20 miles away. *laughs* How fun :)

I'm jealous that you actually get to see a tree that looks like this! I currently only have my imagination to enjoy. And thank you,...its awesome that you love it.

YES!! Just what I was going for. Thank you :) :floating:
