Update: 7-23-04
So I wasn't quite happy with the previous version. It wasn't dynamic enough......not enough movement or light and it seemed a little messy. I'm quite happy with the revised version

Drip onto my tongue,
Breathe what I am feeling.
Surround me like the currents of the deep
Where there is brilliance in the darkest hue
And moment linger
for as long as you have breath,
Drain these overflowing wells of my desire
and quench the thirst I cannot seem to fill.

Daily Deviation, 2004-07-24
Thirst by *rebekahlynn
Exquisite design and rendering. The intertwining of smoothly scaled bodies and gossamerlike fins, in that ocean light, almost make this deviation come alive, with inferences of both movement and lasciviousness.
The subjects dolphin-like, yet also undulating with an almost serpentine apearance, this piece transcends the almost conventional Disney-esque depiction of ..."Mer-people", yet still manages to invokes a sense of familiarity through its parallels with human passion.
