Artist's Comments
This is a resin cast of a clay sculpture I did a number of months ago. The figure is based off of a live figure model but was later interpretted in a cubist style of sculpture. I didn't know exactly what I was making at the time but on retrospection she seems a world goddess to me. Though I was aiming for a strictly geometrical cubist interpretation, she wanted to have organic curves, so I gave them to her. Highly fertile and highly female.
